AT&T Digital Life is AT&T’s vision of a smarter, safer home. It is their all-in-one solution to protect and manage your home. It allows you to protect and manage your home from virtually anywhere from any device – PC, smartphone, or tablet- using the Digital Life App. It involves 24/7 monitoring for peace of mind and is professionally installed by a certified professional at no additional cost.

AT&T Digital Life comes in three different package options: Smart Security, Smart Security and Automation, and Premium Smart Security and Automation. All options include rapid alarm response time, remote access from your smartphone/tablet/wearable/computer, and text and email alerts to any changes in your system settings. All options also include one keypad, one indoor siren, one motion sensor, and two contact sensors.

Since it involves wireless communication, no home phone is required to have AT&T Digital Life. In addition, it is compatible with other high-speed Internet providers; you do not have to have AT&T Internet to utilize AT&T Digital Life.

Smart Security Option

AT&T Digital Life’s Smart Security Option costs $39.99/month (and an additional $.99 on date of purchase for equipment) and includes $700 in equipment if it were to be bought separately. Smart Security includes 24/7 professional monitoring, 4 window sensors, door sensors, a motion sensor, an indoor siren, and a keypad.

Smart Security and Automation Option

AT&T Digital Life’s Smart Security and Automation Option costs $54.99/month (and an additional $29.99 on date of purchase for equipment) and includes $1,200 in equipment if it were to be bought separately. Smart Security and Automation includes all of the features of Smart Security, plus 7 window sensors (instead of 4), an outdoor video camera, and a touchscreen keyless door lock. You can remotely lock or unlock your door using the Digital Life App.

With the Video Camera Package available with the Smart Security and Automation Option, you get the ability to view live or recorded video of your home via the Digital Life App. You can also program the camera to capture video or take a snapshot when motion is detected.

With the Door Package available with this option, you can remotely lock and unlock the front door of your home or control your garage door via the Digital Life App. You can also program multiple access codes for keyless entry to your home. You can also set a notification alert whenever your home’s doors are opened so that you know who is coming in and out of your home. You also have the option to have your security system disarm itself whenever the master door lock code is used.

Premium Smart Security and Automation Option

AT&T Digital Life’s Premium Smart Security and Automation Option costs $64.99/month (and an additional $99.99 on date of purchase for equipment) and includes $1,700 in equipment if it were to be bought separately. Premium Smart Security and Automation includes all of the features of the Smart Security and Smart Security and Automation options, plus 10 window sensors (instead of 4 or 7, respectively), a carbon monoxide sensor, a glass-break sensor, a smoke sensor, 2 temperature and water sensors, 2 indoor smart plugs, and a thermostat.

With the Energy Package available with this option, you can manage the temperature of your home and small appliances via the Digital Life App. By creating programs within the app, you can conserve energy by having the app adjust your home’s temperature on a set schedule, even when you’re not at home.

With the Water Detection Package included in this option, you can receive text or email notification alerts whenever water leaks are detected. You can also monitor the ambient temperature using the Digital Life App.

All options require a 2-year agreement; if all equipment is returned before 14 days have passed since installation, the consumer may be subject to up to a $99 restocking fee. If 14 days have passed since installation and the consumer wants to return all equipment, there is an early termination fee of $640 for Smart Security and $50 for each automation.

Thus, AT&T gives consumers three package options starting at $39.99/month to protect their home using AT&T Digital Life. AT&T Internet is not required to utilize AT&T Digital Life, nor is having a landline phone. AT&T Digital Life App

The Digital Life App provides you with the convenience and flexibility to remotely access and manage your Digital Life System. The app works with most smartphones and tablets, so as long as you have an Internet connection, you're good to go. No need to stay at home to unlock the door for the kids or worry that a package delivery isn't made. You can set up notifications, record video, unlock doors and more, right from your device. Digital Life helps make protecting and automating your home fit seamlessly into your lifestyle.
